It is the responsibility of the buyer and seller to do your homework before buying or selling an animal or pet supply. We do not "check out" any sellers or breeders, Nor do we endorse any seller or breeder. |

AD CONTENT - Ads must be accurate and honest. If you receive 3 complaints that something in your ads was misleading or dishonest,
any existing ads will be removed immediately and without a refund.
You will no longer be allowed to list on this site. |

REFUNDS - We do not issue refunds. It is the responsibility of the advertiser to check the ad, when it is published, for any errors and report them immediately.
We also do not issue refunds for canceling directory listings
early. |

CONTACT ISSUES - E-mails are answered usually right away, otherwise, within 24 hours. If you feel your e-mails aren't getting through please check your junk or spam e-mail folder. If you still don't find any reply from us, please mail us a letter with your problem, at the mailing address on the "contact us/ about us" page. |

GUARANTEE - We cannot make any guarantee that your pet and/or pet supply will sell. The animal market fluctuates from month to month. A breed in high demand in December, may be worth nothing in January. As the seller, it is up to you to make the best presentation for your item or animal. Clear and accurate descriptions and cute photos are a plus. Keeping the photo and information current throughout the run of your ad, is very helpful too. Since the changes are free, we recommend updating your ad once a week,
and as animals sell. |

AD CHANGES - All changes are free. You may make an unlimited number of changes to the text and photo throughout the run of your ad. However the animal(s) or pet supply(ies) for sale, must stay the same.
New litter - New ad. Attempts to fraud the system will result
in immediate removal of all ads, without refund, and indefinite
suspension from advertising on this site. |

AD REQUIREMENTS - All ads placed on Midwest Pet Finder are required to be from within the coverage area. Your ad is also required to have a price or price range, and the city and state that the animal or supply is located in.
Ads are also required to be updated at least every 30 days. Your
ad will be reviewed and a list of recommended changes will be
sent, at least one of the recommended changes must be made to
keep your ad running. Ads must be for a specific animal or
litter. (Also see "Breeder/Service Directories" below). |

CANCELLATIONS - Cancellations are final. Be sure your animal or supply is paid for before you cancel your ad. People back out of deals all the time. We do not keep your ad on file once you cancel. |

MONTHLY REMINDERS -
You will be given a reminder each month to update or cancel your
ad. You must respond within 7 days or your ad will be
automatically deleted. Deletion is final, you will have to rerun
your ad if you didn't respond. If you are receiving a monthly
reminder, it means you have not updated your ad in any way for
at least 30 days. A list of recommendations will be sent out,
you must make at least one of the recommended changes in order
for your ad to continue. If we have no recommendations for you
at that time, just write back with "valid" to continue the ad. |

ANIMAL ABUSE - As
mentioned above, we do not get involved in disputes. However, if
it is determined, by the authorities or your local Humane
Society, that you have been charged and proven guilty of Animal
cruelty or abuse in any form, your ads will be removed and you
will not be refunded. You will also be banned from advertising
on this site. NO EXCEPTIONS. Also See the "Policies on large
Kennels or Breeders" document linked at the bottom of this page. |

DUPLICATE ADS -
Duplicate ads are considered spam. If duplicate ads are found,
the older of the 2 ads will be removed. |

BREEDER/SERVICE DIRECTORIES
- Ads in the classifieds can only be for a specific animal, litter
or supply. Ads for a website, facility, company or service, multiple
breeds and/or litters/animals, will not be allowed. You can register your
website and/or facility in the "Breeder Directory" and your Company,
Product or service in the "Service Directory". Ads for multiple
litters/animals must be run as 1 ad per litter or animal, with the
exception of 2 animals sold together, such as breeding pairs or
animals raised together that cannot be separated (Rare exceptions
are at the discretion of the host). Links to websites in ads will
not be 'clickable', unless the link is registered in the directory,
under the breed you are advertising. This includes "designer
breeds". Example: "Cockapoos" must be registered under "Cockapoos"
Even if you already have registered the "Poodles" or "Cocker
Spaniels". |

AD PACKAGES/CODES - We no longer allow
"customer code/package" sharing. Each seller must buy their own
"customer code/package". Sharing your code will result
in immediate cancellation of the code, and all ads placed with the
code, without refund. If this policy
is repeatedly broken, the package will be discontinued. |

NON-ETHICAL/SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY -
Protecting our shoppers is as important as protecting our sellers.
We will not take chances with anyone's safety. Any of these types
of activities will be cause for immediate removal of all ads, NO
refunds, and indefinite suspension from our site. Examples of
these types of activity: Pricing animals differently on different
advertising sites, refusal to show animals OR your facility,
transfer of animals that are too young to be weaned, photos that
show animals not properly cared for, any type of "puppy mill"
behavior (not limited to just puppies), etc. Please note:
Placing ads for someone who is suspended, in your name, is also
considered Non-ethical/suspicious activity. |

NO TOLERANCE - Repeated violation, or
constant complaining, about the policies of use of this site, are no
longer tolerated. It wastes the time of other sellers, when we have
be writing you to remind you, of something you were already warned
about. In these cases, you will be banned from Advertising in the
Classifieds, or Breeder directory, and in some cases both. 30 day
"Update Required" notices, in regards to this policy:
"Update Required" notices are sent 30 days from
your last update. This is already too long to go without an update.
The ad has become stale, and now makes us both look bad. If you
receive 2 of these notices on the same ad, your ad will
automatically be removed when the third notice is due to be sent,
without refund. Sellers who do not like to keep ads
current, are being asked to use the "Breeder Directory", and not the
"Classifieds". We pride ourselves on being a fresh, fun place to
shop. Stale ads are frustrating, unsuccessful, and no fun for
anyone. |

PRIVACY STATEMENT - Midwest Pet
Finder will never sell, or give away, your private information.
Midwest Pet Finder also has a strong policy against spam e-mails. We
will only contact you regarding any current advertisements you are
running, and possibly once a year with our annual "thank you"
note/newsletter. This policy also covers our store - Layla's Closet. |
